Voilà presque 2 ans, Lucie m'a envoyé un super beau bonnet: je l'ai porté jusqu'à ce que la laine soit usée. Autant vous dire qu'à la fin de l'hiver dernier, je me disais avec tristesse que c'était sans doute son dernier hiver. Enfin, c'était sans compter sur ma femme de ménage qui, au printemps, a pensé bien faire en lavant les accessoires d'hiver rangés dans une corbeille dans le vestibule sans se rendre compte qu'il y avait un bonnet de laine au milieu!!! Par miracle, le bonnet a survécu à un passage en machine ET au sèche-linge mais il ne me va plus. Par contre, Emma est super contente de porter le bonnet de maman!!!!! Bref, je suis vraiment contente que ce joli bonnet qui me rappelle une amie qui m'est chère fasse encore partie de mon quotidien!

Emma au zoo hier: elle avait coincé son bébé dans son gilet et l'avait recouvert de sa couverture pour faire comme les mamans qui ont un porte-bébé! Emma at the zoo yesterday: she stucked her baby in her coat and covered it with its blankie to imitate the moms with a baby carriers!

Hiver 2011 - Winter 2011

Almost 2 years ago I received this gorgeous hat made by my friend Lucie: I wore it untill the wool shows signs of wear. Needless to say that at the end of last Winter, I was thinking it would be its last Winter. Well, I was mistaken! Last Spring, my housekeeper thought it would be a good idea to wash all the Winter accessories we keep in a basket in the entrance way without realizing that a wool hat was among them!!!! By some miracle, the hat survived a trip into the washing machine AND the dryer except that it doesn't fit me anymore. But Emma is very happy to wear Mommy's hat!!!! I am so happy that this gorgeous hat that reminds me so much of my dear friend is still part of my daily Life!
